Over the past several years, the principals of
db Integrated Systems have been involved in many projects throughout
the Midwest. We have detailed a few of these projects below. |
| |
| Crain Communications Conference Center |
 |
Crain Communications is publisher of Crain Chicago
Business as well as 32 other high-profile business periodicals.
This design/build project included the main boardroom, multiple
conference rooms, and video-over-CAT5 distribution of cable TV sources
for six floors of editorial offices and newsrooms overlooking the
Chicago River on Michigan Avenue. |
| |
| Northrop Grumman Conference Center |
 |
Northrop Grumman wanted the best in this state-of-the-art
conference center that hosts proposals and discussions for high-security
government projects. Multiple large screens in the main center,
three sub-conference rooms, all tied together with sophisticated,
secure control systems. |
| |
| Price Waterhouse Training and Videoconference
Center |
 |
| The main training center for new recruits, this
flexible training and conference center included a large divisible
presentation room, three conference rooms and two videoconference
suites. This design/build project also included the video systems
for the main reception area, meeting lounges on each floor, and
the CATV and sound masking systems for four floors in their Chicago
high-rise home. |

| The Lookingglass Theater |
 |
| The Chicago Water Tower and the Chicago Avenue
pumping station were the only two structures left standing after
the Great Chicago Fire. The pump station still operates and pumps
fresh water from Lake Michigan. The back side of the pump station
has been renovated into a performing arts home for the Lookingglass
Theater Company. Designed by the Talaske Group in Oak Park, IL,
the theater includes a highly flexible audio system that can be
reconfigured for traditional and in-the-round configurations. |
| |
| Federated Department Stores |
 |
| This design/build project included specialized,
upscale audio systems, multiple plasma displays and video wall for
the Juniors Department in 200 Macy’s stores. This fast-track
installation was completed in just over two years. |
